CDSM was spun off a local Madison brokerage firm where it provided development and construction management services to property owners, real estate buyers, and tenants looking to develop and build-out their properties and spaces.  CDSM focuses on providing services to its clients ranging from the inception  and designing of a project through its move-in ready completion through coordination of all players from the contractors to city officials to post-construction cleaners.

Scott Gussick, the Construction and Development Manager, has 15+ years of planning, design, and construction management experience across Madison, Wisconsin, and US.  His experience in both the private and public sectors provides valuable insight into the process of development allowing for the identification of problems before they arise and the adaptability to manage those which do.

Scott is a two-time alumnus of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with Bachelors and Masters degrees focused on planning , design, and real estate development.

Scott's career began working in urban planning and design at firms like HNTB and MESA Design Group where he crafted master planned developments, municipal zoning codes, comprehensive plans, and economic development strategies.  Later, Scott moved into the public side of development, working for the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA).  Here he focused public-private partnership projects involving LITHC, NMTC, and the Transform Milwaukee Initiative where he managed and tracked progress of projects involving state and federal monies.  Scott left the public side of development for the private side when he joined Continental Properties.  While there, Scott realized the development of over 550,000 sf of retail space and 842 luxury units of multi-family in southern Wisconsin and the Southeastern United States.

Now CDSM...let's see what we can put together.
